Prologue
He moved through the crowd with confidence, easily blending in like he was apart of the humans in this town. He acted as if he belonged, like he wasn't an abomination that deserved to burn in the deep, fiery pits in the darkest parts of hell, which is where I would be sending him in the next few minutes. Watching the creature crossing the road to the other side of the street, I stepped out from the shadow cast corner and nonchalantly followed him to the alley way. There was a suspicion in the back of my mind that my prey knew I was closing in on him, but of course it wasn't like I didn't expect it. I wanted him to know, I wanted him

Lost Ridge - Chapter 1
The bustle of fans could be heard from behind the walls where I stood just outside of the stage. With the Lost Ridge boys, and girl, about to take the stage, our fans were pretty excited and truth be told, it was a good feeling to have fans like these. Once again, we were sold out and that was saying a lot. Music genres like hip hop, rap and country were easily popular and had numerous fans out there worldwide, but they were nothing like the fans Bluegrass artists had.

The Texas show was our last show in that little tour we did. The way Tim ran our tours was actually pretty nice. We weren’t gone for weeks on end, we were gone for days. Depending on the location of the venue and how many shows we were doing, we’d leave out on thursday and be back on sunday. However, we were gone a little longer for the Texas tour. We left on Wednesday night, played a show Thursday night in some town in Arkansas, then Friday night in Oklahoma, then finally made it to Texas. There was a coffee table in the middle of it of the little living room area. Off to the side of that was the kitchen scene, it had a sink, a dishwasher, stove and fridge and of course a microwave.
There was a door practically in the middle of the back wall, the door was glass and on the front

Chapter 3
“So, who exactly is watching the kids tonight?” Lettie asked while watching Skye bring the popcorn into the living room of Skye and Lawson’s ranch home. My sister sat down beside her husband, after placing the huge bowl of popcorn on the coffee table, and leaned into him. The two fit together almost naturally, like they belonged.
“Henry and Sam are watching the girls tonight,” Skye answered with a broad grin, a grin we all shared in kind The idea of Henry, Lawson’s eccentric best friend, and Sam, my not so insane best friend, watching the two girls was definitely something we all were curious

Lost Ridge - Chapter 3 pt 2
“I can’t believe you actually had dinner with her!” my wife yelled at me while putting up dishes--if you call slinging dishes around and jamming them in cupboards putting them away, that is. Our kitchen was a wreck, to say the least. My wife flitted from one spot to the next, emphasizing her words with her arms. Ask me how I could tell she was mad at me… go on.
“After you left from our date, you had dinner with a woman. A single woman! Are you serious?” she yelled at me again. She turned her head, and I followed suit, to see Piper standing in the archway that connected the living room and kitchen, clutching
